Svatba v Káně galilejské

Ve městě Káně Galilejská nedaleko Nazareta se konala svatba. Mezi hosty byla i Ježíšova matka Maria. Pozván byl také Ježíš a jeho učedníci. Hostitelé nepočítali s tím, že jich bude tolik. Hostina byla v plném proudu, všichni pozvedali číše k měsíci pro štěstí novomanželů, když zjistili nedostatek vína.

Marie si toho všimla, šla za Ježíšem: "Už nemají víno". On odpověděl: "Co ode mne žádáš! Ještě nepřišla moje hodina".

Maria však byla přesvědčena, že její syn hostitelům pomůže. Požádala služebníky, aby udělali, co jim ježíš řekne.

V místnosti stálo šest velkých kamenných nádob na vodu, určených k židovskému očišťování. Ježíš řekl, aby je naplnili nádoby až po okraj vodou. "A teď z nich naberte a doneste správci svatby!"

Služebníci tedy donesli správci vodu, proměněnou v dobré víno. Když správce ochutnal, zavolal ženicha a řekl mu: "Každý člověk podává nejprve dobré víno a teprve když už měsíci připili, víno horší. Ty však podáváš dobré víno až do konce."

To učinil Ježíš jako první zázrak a učedníci v něj uvěřili.

Wedding at Cana of Galilee

A wedding was held in the city of Galilee, near Nazareth. Among the guests was Maria mother of Jesus. Jesus and his disciples were also invited. The hosts did not expect that there would be so many. The banquet was in full swing, all lifted the cup to the moon for the happiness of the newlyweds when they found a lack of wine.

Mary noticed, she went to Jesus, "They have no more wine." He replied: "What do you ask of me, my hour has not come yet?"

But Maria was convinced that her son would help her. She asked servants to do what Jesus told them.

In the room stood six large stone vessels of water designed for Jewish cleansing. Jesus said to fill the vessels to the edge of the water. "And now offer the cup to regent from the wessels! "

So the servants brought water to, transformed into good wine to Regent. When Regent tasted, he called the groom and said to him: "Everyone gives good wine first, and after moon wine dipping, wine is worse, but you serve good wine until the end."

This made Jesus as the first miracle, and the disciples believed in him.
